Blue Ridge Fish Food

Tips...

Train your fish by making a  square "feeding  ring" out of 2" PVC pipe and four elbows glued togeather with PVC glue. Make the ring 1 to 2 feet long per side depending on the size of your pool and number of fish. The "feeding ring" will float on top of the water and food placed or thrown inside the ring stays in one spot. The fish will quickly learn to come up and feed inside the ring making it easier to watch your fish. If you have large pond or pool you can anchor the ring with a string.

Do not over feed.  I recommend feeding several small meals instead of one large meal. By feeding your fish at the same time and same place each time, many of the fish can be "trained" to come to the same spot at the same time each day.

Stop feeding when water temps are consistently under 55 - 53 as the fish's digestive system is slowing down and it there is good chance the food will rot before the fish can digest it resulting in a dead fish.  Start feeding again when the temp stays above 55 degrees
